hi! my name is
I’m an Ayurvedic practitioner, straight-talker, and believer in simple changes with big impact.
Having faced my own mental health struggles over the years, Yoga, Ayurveda and my spiritual journey have transformed my outlook and approach to life. Now in my 40s, I feel happier, stronger and more comfortable in my own skin than ever. That didn’t happen overnight, nor will this journey ever be ‚complete‘. There’s still so much more to learn and I hope you will join me on this exciting quest.
I find joy in the simple things, like spending time with friends, hanging out in nature, practising yoga, painting, reading and listening to music. My dog Rio keeps me on my toes and is the centre of my universe. He teaches me what it means to be present and that happiness really isn’t rocket science.

Ayurveda is an ancient holistic healing system from India that focuses on balancing the body, mind, and spirit through natural remedies, diet, and lifestyle practices.
Ayurveda offers a holistic approach to managing a wide range of disorders by balancing the body’s natural energies (doshas) and addressing root causes rather than just symptoms. This could be anything from digestive disorders (e.g. IBS, bloating, constipation, acidity), hormonal imbalances (e.g. infertility, low libido), inflammatory conditions (e.g. arthritis, tonsillitis, colitis, dermatitis), mental health issues (e.g. anxiety, depression) insomnia, stress, metabolic disorders (e.g. weight gain, obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol), skin conditions (e.g. eczema, psoriasis, rosacea) or respiratory issues (e.g. asthma, allergies, congestion).
No, I am not and don’t claim to be a medical doctor. My Ayurvedic advice is complementary to the allopathic treatment and does not replace it. You should always consult your GP if you have any serious or acute health concerns or are unsure of best treatment options.
I passed my Diploma in Ayurvedic Lifestyle and Nutrition with high distinction in June 2024 and am currently studying to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner (Level 2) at the Ayurveda Institute UK (due to complete in early 2026).
Of course, I’d be delighted to speak to you and answer any questions you might have. Please reach out via the ‘Contact me’ form on my website, or email me directly at hello@samayou.co.uk.
Most of my consultations take place online via Teams video calls. However, if you’re based in London and would prefer to meet face-to-face, please let me know and we can arrange this.
It depends on your circumstances, but ideally, I prefer working with someone over a period of several months. Learning Ayurvedic principles and developing a certain discipline around it takes some time, as it involves a shift in mindset and incorporating new habits. This is when the real magic happens. If you don’t have any big health issues and are just looking for a bit of general guidance to keep you on track, you might consider a one-off consultation or a shorter course. Reach out via the contact form or hello@samayou.co.uk to discuss the best option for you.
Yes, I can work with clients all over the world and have found online consultations to be just as effective as in-person ones. My mother tongue is German.
